Enrolment Information

We aim to make enrolment easy, you can download and print an enrolment form from the links below or collect a hard copy from the school office.

Enrolment Documents Required.
- A completed enrolment form
- A copy of the child's birth certificate or passport,
- Proof of address*
- For children born overseas, a copy of the relevant valid visa and current passport is required.
*We require two forms of proof of address - such as utilities, bank statements, tenancy agreement or rates bills, with documentation no older than one month.
At least one form must be an original — not a copy downloaded from the internet.

To submit an enrolment, or if you have any queries regarding enrolling your child, please email [email protected]

Entry to School Visits.
Pre-schoolers are required to attend three school visits on Tuesdays from 9:30–11:00 am. An adult (18+) must remain onsite during these visits.

If you have any questions about enrolment or the curriculum, feel free to contact the school office. We're happy to help or arrange a meeting with senior staff.

2027 - Ballot for Out of Zone Enrolments - Is now open.

Important: Should your family move out of the Fruitvale School zone, your child’s current enrolment will remain unaffected; however, any subsequent siblings wishing to enrol will be required to enter the out-of-zone ballot enrolment process.

Zoning Information

Out-of-zone applications are only accepted once all in-zone enrolments are accepted.
Out-of-zone students can only be accepted if there are places available.

Currently the Act defines the order of out-of-zone student priority as:
1. Students accepted for enrolment in a special programme run by the school
2. Siblings of current students
3. Siblings of former students
4. Children of former students
5. Children of board employees and board members
6. All other students.

Once a priority category is reached where there are more applications than places available, the school will hold a ballot. Applications are randomly drawn and accepted in that order until all of the remaining available places are filled.
